Regina police are investigating after gunfire rang out late last night in North Central Regina.

Officers were called to the 700 block of Retallack Street at 10:45 p.m. last night.

Police said several shots from a small caliber rifle were fired into a residence in the area.

There were several people inside at the time but nobody was injured.

Police said the suspects fled the scene before police arrived and the incident is currently under investigation.
