Record high temperatures will be set in the Lower Mainland, Thompson, Okanagan and Cariboo/Prince George regions today, breaking records set generations ago.
The record high for today at Vancouver Airport is 15 degrees, set in 1991, and as of 6 a.m. this morning it was already 15 degrees.
Madryga says don’t expect these temperatures to stick around however. Readings will be a few degrees cooler on Wednesday.
