Veteran, Rider, motorcycle and snowmobile plates will continue to be a maximum of five characters due to available space.

In addition, SGI will also be reissuing slogans that have been inactive for five years or longer.

Customers who have previously registered these particular slogans will have first choice to reactivate the slogan before it is made available to other vehicle owners.

Slogans deemed suggestive or not in good taste to the general public can be rejected or recalled.
