Police said a vehicle travelling east on 8th Street attempted to make a left-hand turn onto McKercher but collided with a westbound vehicle.

The vehicle that was attempting the turn then struck both a light standard and a third vehicle that was waiting at a red light in southbound traffic.

The teenager who was driving the westbound vehicle was taken to Royal University Hospital. Her injuries were believed to be minor.
