“Some of those anti-bacterial soaps and things like that have a lot of chemicals, like triclosan, that we really want to avoid.”
Ingredients:
1 tsp Borax
½ TBSP Castile soap
3 to 5 drops of essential oils such as tea tree oil or citrus oil, which have anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties (optional)
1 litre of hot/recently boiled water
Kelleppan said Borax can usually be found in the laundry aisle of your local grocery store, while Castile soap (which is oil based) can be found at drug stores and natural food stores.
Directions:
Add the Borax, castile soap and essential oils to a spray bottle. Add water and shake until Borax has dissolved.
