A 32-year-old man was arrested and police say charges are pending against him.

“Any day we can take a gun and drugs off the street is a good one,” Sgt. Dwayne Loppie said in a news release. “It sends the message that we will not tolerate this type of activity in the town of Springhill.”

Police say the investigation is still in its early stages and more information will be released.
