Police in Saskatoon weren’t the only officers in the province who were busy on the last weekend of October. Prince Albert, Sask., police said they had a busy weekend responding to 290 calls.
One of those calls involved three loaded guns found in a car Friday evening.
Officers pulled over a speeding southbound car on 2nd Avenue West and a search turned up the three weapons.

The driver, a 25-year-old Saskatoon man, is facing 21 charges.
A 23-year-old Prince Albert man, who was a passenger in the car, is also facing 21 charges, while a second passenger, a 20-year-old Prince Albert man, faces six charges.
All three are scheduled to appear Monday in Prince Albert provincial court.
Cocaine and meth were seized in another traffic stop early Saturday morning.
When officers pulled over a vehicle, the driver attempted to flee on foot.
He was arrested and a search turned up 42 grams of meth, 21 grams of cocaine and $1,500 in cash.

The 25-year-old Prince Albert man is facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
A 24-year-old passenger in the vehicle is also facing possession for the purpose of trafficking charges along with resisting arrest and breach of a court order.
On Sunday morning, police were called to the 700-block of 2nd Street East for reports of gun shots.
Officers arrived to find a 26-year-old man with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
He told police he had been walking with other people when the shooting happened.

No arrests have been made and police continue to investigate.
In total, Prince Albert police said 68 people were arrested over the weekend, with the top three calls being for intoxicated people (40), disturbances (32) and evictions (15).
