The owner of Pink Nightclub & Lounge, Skipp Anderson, is facing two sexual assault charges stemming from two separate incidents.

Anderson is charged with one count dating back to May 2014, according to court records. A jury trial is scheduled for April 2017 in Saskatoon’s Court of Queen’s Bench.

Records show the other charge is related to an incident alleged to have happened in July 2016. A preliminary hearing in Saskatoon provincial court is set for March 2017.

The names of the complainants are protected under publication bans.

Anderson is a prominent member of Saskatoon’s LGBTQ community.
