A new campaign in Saskatoon is encouraging youth to “Wrap it Up” by making condom use fun, sexy and exciting.
Jillian Schwandt, the executive director of the Sexual Health Centre Saskatoon, said the goal of the campaign is to increase condom use among youth and make it more acceptable.

Saskatchewan currently has the highest HIV rate in the country along with high STI rates, including the high rates of Chlamydia among women between the ages of 15 and 24 and men between the ages of 20 and 29.
As Schwandt explains to Lisa Dutton, the condom wrappers plays on the names of four Saskatchewan communities and were developed with input from youth.
