KELOWNA, B.C. – Emergency crews were called out to a serious crash at Harvey Avenue (Hwy 97) and Dilworth Drive Friday evening just before 7 p.m.
A pick-up truck and car had collided, sending the truck onto its roof.
A man behind the wheel of the car had to be freed with the help of the Jaws of Life.
It’s unknown how many other people were injured in the crash, but several ambulances were required at the scene.
Traffic southbound on Harvey near the Orchard Park Mall was rerouted for several hours while the scene was cleared.
RCMP have yet to release information about the accident.
