Saturday Night Live takes on ‘second and worst ever’ presidential debate

Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump faced Kate McKinnon’s Hillary Clinton in last night’s Saturday Night Live’s opening sketch.

Previous satirical sketches featuring Baldwin as Donald Trump mocked the first debate and the now infamous Trump tapes.

The second presidential debate was called the “worst ever,” by the moderators, — Anderson Cooper played by Alex Moffat and Martha Raddatz played by Cecily Strong – as they did shots before welcoming the candidates.

“Please help us welcome the candidates, Republican nominee Donald Trump, and can we say this yet? President Hillary Clinton,” Strong’s Raddatz said.

The two circled each other like predators, before faking a handshake – the lack of which made the rounds on Twitter during Sunday’s debate.

The SNL cast brought back some of the more notable moments from Sunday’s debate, which included Trump’s looming over Clinton to the Jaws theme, and his insistence that Clinton would go to jail.
