Police say it is believed the victim was held against her will for a number of days and was being forced into the sex trade.

A man and a woman were arrested at the motel on Highway 97 in the north end of the city without incident.

Police say 33-year-old Jody Burns and 34-year-old Jennifer Dawn have been charged with trafficking in persons, forcible confinement and sexual assault with a firearm.

Police say they are also following up on the possibility that there may be more victims.
