13-year-old boy hit by train in Regina

A 13-year-old boy was injured Thursday night in an accident at a train crossing in Regina.

Police said at around 10:30 p.m. CST, the boy, who was a pedestrian, somehow came into contact with a moving train at the crossing on Park Street, south of 6th Avenue.

The boy was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries but was being held at the hospital as a precautionary measure.
