Approximately 230 students from Ecole St. Cecilia School in southeast Calgary had to be evacuated on Monday, when the school’s boiler system overheated.
The students were moved to nearby Acadia Elementary as a precaution.

Fire crews had to shut off the natural gas at the school, but the heating system has since been repaired and deemed safe.
Students were able to return to St. Cecilia just after 1 p.m.
