The Kelowna Rockets trimmed their roster Tuesday, releasing 19-year-old forward Tate Coughlin.
Coughlin started his Rockets career as a rookie and was in his third full season with the club.
He played 112 games notching a career four goals and nine assists.
“The Rockets organization would like to thank Tate for his efforts, both on the ice and in the community,” said the organization in a news release.
The Rockets have three wins and five losses so far this season. Their next game is at home this Friday, when they host the Saskatoon Blades.
