Don’t call 911 for advice on how to cook a turkey

For some people, making a turkey and playing host for dozens of guests means Thanksgiving can be a stressful day.

But Surrey RCMP say some people are going a little too far with their concerns.

Police requested via Twitter that residents do not call 911 to ask for advice on cooking their turkey.

They even included the hashtag “yes it happens” just in case people were wondering if they were joking.
