A man is in hospital with an apparent stab wound to the neck, after police responded to a report of a break-in in Coquitlam Monday morning.
When police arrived at Bedrock Granite Sales on 1800-block of Pipeline Road, they found a man in need of medical aid, and called Emergency Health Services.

The man was transported to Royal Columbian Hospital via ambulance while unconscious.
At the hospital he went into cardiac arrest and was rushed into surgery.
His current condition is unknown.
