2 dead in Hudson Bay, Sask. house fire

RCMP said two people were killed Friday after a house fire in the town of Hudson Bay, Sask.

On Friday at around 5 a.m. CT, emergency services were called to a blaze at 203 Churchill St. Crews arrived to find the home fully involved.

Local fire crews located and removed two bodies from the house.

A 36-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names have not been released by police.

Provincial fire investigators determined the blaze to be accidental in nature.

Hudson Bay is approximately 300 kilometres east of Saskatoon.
