She was last seen on the morning of June 21, 1996 outside her rental basement suite, located in the 2600-block of Sunnyside Crescent.
Mikszan’s landlord spotted her on that day. She says a man named John Davis attended her residence to look at Mikszan’s vehicle, which appeared to be broken down. Davis was Mikszan’s acquaintance and her employer. Later that morning, the landlord saw Davis leave in his pickup truck. She can’t say for certain if she saw Mikszan in the truck when he left. But that was the last time she saw her.
Mikszan’s car, wallet and cash were left at her residence; however, there appeared to be a blue backpack and Canadian citizenship papers missing.
An anonymous donor is now offering a $25,000 reward to anyone who located Mikszan or provides information that results in her being found.
