RCMP are investigating and looking for a group of men following an alleged attempted robbery in Ridge Meadows on Tuesday morning.
Mounties say they were called to Richardson Road at about 8:40 a.m. in response to a group of men who went onto a property and started shooting off guns.
No one was injured in the “very aggressive” robbery attempt, Ridge Meadows RCMP Cpl. Brenda Winpenny said. Several specialized units are on the scene and police have secured the area for an investigation.
Police are looking for four to six males who are associated with a white panel van and a dark-coloured pickup truck, possibly a Ford F350.
The investigation is in the early stages but police are asking anyone with information to contact Ridge Meadows RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
