Toronto police have arrested a man after he allegedly assaulted two TTC bus drivers and a police officer.

According to police, officers were called to the Ossington Avenue and Dupont Street area around 5:30 p.m. Sunday when a man, who was on a bus as a passenger, assaulted the driver.

The man then left the bus and boarded another bus at the same intersection and assaulted the driver.

The man left the area and police found him on a third bus a short distance away. Police said the man threatened and spat on one of the officers.

Jesse Armitage, 31, of Toronto has been charged with assault, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, assaulting a peace officer, uttering threats, mischief and failure to comply with a probation order.

He was scheduled to appear in a Toronto court Monday morning.
