Prince William is a royal, through and through.
Even as a little boy, the Duke of Cambridge showed poise under pressure and displayed immaculate manners in public — and it seems that has carried into his adult life.
On Friday, he and wife Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, had just arrived at an official visit and were shaking the hands of dignitaries when the Queen’s representative of county Essex, Jonathan Douglas-Hughes, appeared to slip and fall backwards.
An audible gasp can be heard from the crowd.

Carrying a sword and wearing a full military uniform, Douglas-Hughes was helped up by William, along with a few other people.
“Sorry about that!” Douglas-Hughes exclaimed. He didn’t appear to suffer any major injury.
William being William, he simply smiled and replied: “No, it’s all right.”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, along with their children, will be visiting B.C. and the Yukon from Sept. 24 to Oct. 1.
Prince William and Kate will take part in more than 30 engagements over the week and the palace hopes the tour will “deepen their relationship with a country that they will visit many times over the course of their lives. They want to help the people of British Columbia and Yukon to celebrate what makes Canada great and to showcase some amazing places to the rest of the world.”
