Environment Canada says there is a risk of frost Monday night in Saskatoon and across parts of the central grainbelt.

The low is expected to drop to 1 C in Saskatoon and the surrounding regions.

The mercury is also expected to dip to 1 C in the Prince Albert, North Battleford, Kindersley, Rosetown, Outlook and Meadow Lake regions.

There is also the risk of frost in the Swift Current area, where the low is expected to dip to 3 C.

Gardeners should take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.

So far, Environment Canada has not issued any advisories.
