Halifax man stabbed after answering his front door

Halifax Regional Police are looking for three suspects after a man was stabbed in the chest at his home in Halifax early Sunday morning.

The incident happened in the 5000-block of Charles Street near Gottingen Street shortly after midnight.

The man answered his front door and saw three people he didn’t know: two men and one woman.

Police say there was a brief exchange which led to a physical confrontation, resulting in the victim getting stabbed. His injuries are considered non-life threatening.

No arrests have been made.

The first suspect is described as a black male who was wearing jeans, a red shirt and carrying a bag with a strap across his crest.

The second suspect is a white male who was wearing a red hat and carrying a red/camouflage  bag.

The woman is described thin and blonde. She was wearing a red, black and blue dress with a flannel shirt over top of it.
