Emergency services responded to a diverted plane that landed at Regina International Airport at around 11:15 a.m. CT on Saturday.
WestJet officials said the aircraft, heading from Calgary to Ottawa, was diverted after crew members detected smoke in the flight deck.

The flight landed without incident and all passengers were unharmed and removed safely.
The Regina Police Service said the cause was determined to be a mechanical issue that was quickly handled by the airport’s fire department.
Passengers were transferred to alternate flights to resume their travels.
Regina Airport Authority president and CEO Dick Graham said 128 people were on board WestJet flight 610.
