WINNIPEG — Closing arguments in the trial for Andrea Giesbrecht have been delayed.
They will now be heard October 5th.
Giesbrecht is accused of hiding the remains of six infants inside a storage locker.
On Wednesday, her husband, Jeremy, took the stand. He testified he knew his wife had an unknown number of miscarriages and between 9 and 11 abortions.

His testimony was put on hold back in July after he was given the opportunity to seek legal advice over questions of spousal privilege.
Andrea Giesbrecht’s defense lawyers did not call any witnesses.
Closing arguments were supposed to be heard Friday but one of the crown prosecutors was sick.
The trial started in April, but has been on break twice.
