Calgary police have charged a 28-year-old woman with a string of armed robberies earlier this month.
The robberies took place between approximately 10 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11.
Investigators said the suspect robbed a Subway restaurant in the 2000 block of 18 Avenue N.E., followed by a 7-Eleven in the 300 block of 16 Avenue N.E., and then the Petro-Canada gas station in the 600 block of 16 Avenue N.E., followed by the RBC in the 700 block of Northmount Drive N.W.
In each case, it’s alleged the woman used a weapon to demand money.
“She was able to obtain an undisclosed amount of money from two of the locations,” police said in a Monday news release.
Police have charged Christine Shirley Webb four counts of robbery.
No one was injured and no property was damaged as a result of the robberies.
