4 people bear sprayed at 2 separate locations on Saskatoon’s Diefenbaker Drive

Four people were victims of bear spray attacks at around midnight on Saturday in Saskatoon.

Police first responded to an injured person call in the area of Steeves Avenue and Diefenbaker Drive. When they arrived, two people were found to have been bear sprayed.

A short time later, police received another call to a convenience store in the 3700-block of Diefenbaker Drive where two more people were attacked with bear spray.

Police said they’re unsure at this time if the two calls are related because the victims are not being fully cooperative.
