TORONTO – An overnight house fire caused major damage in Newmarket late Tuesday evening.
The fire broke out just after 10:30 p.m. on Newbury Drive near the intersection of Yonge Street and Davis Drive.

A woman was found unconscious on the front lawn of the home when fire crews arrived. She was revived and rushed to hospital.
Fire crews managed to get the blaze under control quickly but damage to the house was extensive.
York Regional Police are holding the scene until the morning until fire investigators arrive.
