A mobile road show hit the streets of Regina Monday, showcasing the latest in safety equipment and technology.
The 48-foot, fully equipped mobile training centre was parked at the Conexus Arts Centre and more than 120 people registered for the day long workshop.
According to 3M safety specialist Brad Young, the event is to keep safety at the forefront of everyone’s minds.
“Everybody that’s attending today, you know they work for their respective company and everyday they’re exposed to risks at their job,” Young said.
The Saskatchewan Safety Council helped host seminars in conjunction with 3M. Seminars topics included ways to prevents injuries at work and tips on proper eyewear demonstrations.
According to 3M, the travelling workshop regularly travels through the United States, but this year is the first time the Safety Road show made a stop in Canada.
Regina is the only stop in Saskatchewan.
