OPP release identity of man found dead at campground in Perth

PERTH, Ont. – Ontario Provincial Police in Lanark County have released the name of a man who died early Sunday at a campground in Perth, Ont.

But police have not yet revealed how 45-year-old James Laverdure of Lanark County died at the Last Duel Camp Ground.

His death is being treated as a homicide.

An autopsy was conducted Monday, but the results have not yet been released.

The OPP is asking anyone with information about the case to contact them.
