This past week, ScHoolboy Q’s That Part, featuring Kanye West, rose from #42 to #40 on the list, marking West’s 40th trip into the Top 40.

The Life of Pablo rapper now has the 10th-most Top 40 records by a male artist since Billboard launched the list in 1958, and has eclipsed Michael Jackson‘s Top 40 record.

Lil Wayne, Drake, Jay Z, Chris Brown and Stevie Wonder are also in the top 10.

The all-time leader is Elvis Presley, with 80 top 40 entries.

West made his debut on the Top 40 back in 2003 with his single Through The Wire. His next single, Slow Jamz, became his first of four chart-leaders.

Since then, West has made it into the Top 40 at least once a year, from his own singles and others that he’s featured in.

Drake and Rihanna recently tied Jackson with Billboard chart milestones as well.

Rihanna matched Jackson’s career Top 10 records and Drake led the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 at the same time, just like Jackson did in the past.
