Two teenage girls were injured late Sunday evening following a hit and run in Saskatoon.

Police said the two girls, both 17, were crossing the street in the 1200-block of Avenue W North just before midnight when they were hit by a vehicle.

Both girls were taken to hospital by MD Ambulance for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

No description of the vehicle was available.
