Multiple witnesses helped Saskatoon police capture a woman who fled from a stolen car crash on Sunday.

At around 11:15 a.m. CT, several calls came saying a car had crashed into a parked truck at Preston Avenue and 3rd Street East.

One man told police the woman was wearing a miniskirt and black top. He gave chase and directed officers to where she was last seen.

Additional officers arrived and quickly determined that the car had been reported stolen in Saskatoon on Saturday.

As the woman attempted to evade police, numerous reports came in.

At one point, she jumped into a passing truck but was declined a ride. A homeowner then scared her off as she attempted to steal a bicycle from a garage.

She did manage to find another bike and was seen riding it through a yard on Kirk Crescent by a person who flagged down an officer.

Officers eventually arrested her in the 1800-block of 14th Street East.

The 24-year-old woman is facing charges of break and enter, possession of stolen property, failing to remain at the scene of a collision and theft.

She is scheduled to appear Monday morning in Saskatoon provincial court.
