RCMP believe suspect is armed after reported gunshot in Green Lake, Sask.

UPDATE: Wanted Saskatchewan man turns self into Green Lake RCMP

Saskatchewan RCMP are warning the public not to approach a 27-year-old man wanted in relation to a gunshot complaint this past weekend because they believed he is armed.

At around 4:45 a.m. CT on Aug. 6, officers were called to a firearm being discharged within the village of Green Lake, Sask.

Investigation revealed three suspects were possibly inside a residence in the 100-block of Mill Avenue. RCMP said there was also the potential they had access to firearms.

As a precaution, the emergency response team was called in to assist.

Police said four nearby residences were evacuated and Highway 55 was temporarily blocked off for safety reasons during the incident.

At 10:45 a.m., a man was arrested at a residence in the 400-block of Beaver Road in relation to this incident. Two men exited the Mill Avenue residence at 1 p.m. and were arrested.

No injuries were reported.

One of the three men arrested is not facing charges.

Austin Lafond, 20, and Aaron Roy, 22, are facing numerous charges that include careless use of a firearm, pointing a firearm, possession of a prohibited weapon for the purpose of committing a crime and mischief under $5,000.

Both are from Green Lake and their next court appearance in Meadow Lake is Aug. 29.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Corey O’Neil Bouvier. The 27-year-old has been charged in this incident with similar firearms and violence related offences.

The Green Lake man at large is described as being of First Nations descent, five-foot nine, around 160 pounds, with a slim build, brown eyes and dark short hair. He has a scar on his neck and his voice may sound hoarse.
