A Toronto man is facing attempted murder and other charges in connection with a weekend shooting at Yonge-Dundas Square that injured two people, including a passerby.
Police said suspect Alfredo Blass, 22, turned himself in on Friday after investigators this week publicly identified him as the suspect in the shooting early Sunday.
Police have said the shooter was arguing with another man at the southeast corner of Yonge Street and Dundas Street around 1:20 a.m. when four rounds were fired.

Investigators said another bullet hit a second man standing in the area. Both men suffered non-life threatening injuries and were treated in hospital.
Blass is charged with:
1) Two counts of attempted murder
2) Two counts of aggravated assault
3) Discharge firearm being reckless
4) Unauthorized possession of a firearm
5) Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
6) Carrying a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
7) Possess of a firearm knowing that its possession is unauthorized
He is due in court Friday afternoon.
