A Westjet flight that was flying from Vancouver to Ottawa was diverted Wednesday night because of a security incident.
Vancouver Airport tweeted flight WS142 was diverted to Thunder Bay and landed safely.
WestJet also tweeted about the incident, saying authorities determined it to be non-specific and non-credible.
Thunder Bay police said the incident took place just after 10:30 p.m.
RCMP received information of a possible explosive on board the plane.
All 125 passengers and crew were safely escorted off the aircraft.
An investigation is currently underway.
