A journalist posted a gif on Twitter of Susan Sarandon looking miserable at the Democratic Convention in Philadelphia Monday.
Ian Mckenna wrote, “Susan Sarandon is having literally the worst time at the #DemConvention.”
The gif has been shared widely (over 10,000 times) and caught the attention of the noted Bernie Sanders supporter.
Sarandon responded to the post with one word: “Accurate.”
The activist actor campaigned heavily for Sanders during the Democratic primary, appearing at stops along the campaign trail in support of him.
She also declared herself to be in the so-called “Bernie-Or-Bust” camp.

In an interview with left-wing online network, The Young Turks, Sarandon calls the leaked emails that show the Democratic National Committee and chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz strongly backing Clinton for the party bid, “disgusting.” But she adds,”it doesn’t come as a surprise.”
She also said in an interview with left-leaning website Democracy Now, she wants to see what Clinton’s plans for are on issues such as fracking and the Trans-Pacific Partnership. She says she wants to be “convinced” by Clinton.
It sounded like she was unconvinced on Tuesday as she sent out a tweet saying “So now it’s up to her. Don’t blame him if she loses.”
She also issued another Tweet which just said, “I’m out” with a link to a Chicago Tribune article entitled, “DNC betrayed Bernie Sanders and the rest of America.”
