Move over, USS Enterprise, there’s a new ship in the galaxy.
It’s called USS Discovery, and it’s the ship the brand-new crew of Star Trek: Discovery — the upcoming Star Trek TV series — will be flying on their various adventures when the show starts up in January 2017.

During the Star Trek 50th anniversary panel at Comic-Con, showrunner Bryan Fuller and CBS released the short teaser trailer (which you can watch, above). It showcases the new ship in all its glory, and is sure to tantalize any Trekkers/Trekkies out there.
Fuller promised the series will be “progressive” and “push boundaries,” much like the original TV shows.

Star Trek: Discovery is airing exclusively on the network’s streaming service, CBS All Access. Canadians will be able to catch episodes on Sony’s streaming service, Crackle.
