Playground equipment lit on fire in Vernon

The Vernon Fire Department dealt with another suspicious fire on Saturday night.

At around 11:40, crews were called to Grahame Park on Fulton Road.

They found a plastic tunnel on the playground equipment was on fire.

The fire department determined that someone had lit the wood chips below the structure to start the fire.

The investigation has now been handed over to the RCMP.

On Friday night, BX Swan Lake Fire Rescue was called to three suspicious fires burning at the entrance of the BX trail on Star Road.
