The man behind Kelowna’s Designated Dads, a service that drives people home in their own cars after a night of indulging, is now teeing off for a whole new crowd.
After seven years of driving people home from pubs and clubs on weekends, Paul Nesbitt’s Designated Dads has branched off into Caddy Daddy.
During the week, the dads are now available to golfers who’ve had a few rounds while playing one themselves.
“Basically we’ll drive them in their car with our driver dad following in the follow car so we can get our dad back in the loop after,” Nesbitt said. “But it all works by donation.”
Nesbitt says he’s been handing out cards at golf clubs, and leaving piles of them with serving staff to get the word out about the service.
