One person is dead and another injured after a car and pickup truck crashed on Highway 6, near the Rural Municipality of Woodlands.
RCMP said the collision happened around 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said the car was going northbound on the highway when it crossed into the southbound lane and smashed into a pickup truck, setting both vehicles on fire.
The driver, who was the only person in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup driver was pulled from the wreckage by passers-by and airlifted to the Health Sciences Centre by STARS Air Ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
RCMP are not releasing any other information at this time. The crash is still under investigation.

Highway 6 runs from Winnipeg up through the Interlake into northern Manitoba.
