A 23-year-old man is facing charges following an alleged stabbing attack in Surrey on July 14.
Police responded to an incident in the 13000-block of Old Yale Road at around 10:45 p.m.
They found a 25-year-old man suffering from stab wounds at the scene. The victim was taken to hospital in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
Officials say the stabbing happened after an argument broke out between the two men, who knew one another.
Steven Fayant from Port Coquitlam was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and failing to comply with an undertaking.
Fayant is currently in custody and will be appearing in Surrey Provincial Court on July 21.
