You knew this was coming eventually.
Former *NSync member Lance Bass is taking the helm of a Bachelor-like dating TV show, but this one is for gay men only. Titled Finding Prince Charming, the show will feature 13 potential suitors, all living together under one roof and fighting for the affections of one guy.

The new series will not be airing on any channel in Canada (boo! hiss!), but will be broadcast on U.S. channel Logo, which also airs RuPaul’s Drag Race. It’s scheduled to premiere this fall. (For the record, Logo is calling the lead bachelor “the nation’s most eligible gay heartthrob.”)
This is the first-ever American dating reality show that has an all-gay cast.
“Logo has a long history of showcasing LGBTQ-focused stories with memorable characters that transcend pop culture,” said Pamela Post, SVP of original programming for Logo. “Finding Prince Charming will take viewers on a whirlwind journey through modern love and relationships in a way that only Logo can do.”

Bass himself came out in 2006 on the cover of People magazine, after much of *NSync’s fame had fizzled.
In 2007, Bass wrote an autobiography titled Out of Sync, which discussed his sexuality and coming out of the closet.
He married his longtime partner Michael Turchin in 2015, and their nuptials were the focus of an E! special.
