ST. JOHN’S, N.L. – The Marine Atlantic ferry MV Highlanders has returned to service, ending a series of scheduling headaches for the Crown-owned agency.
The ferry is one of several used to link Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.

The ferry resumed its normal schedule Thursday night.
