RCMP issued a warning about Potts earlier this week, asking anyone with information about him to contact them.

Monkman had already been arrested on robbery charges.

Officers believe the trio attempted to steal a car at gunpoint from a woman and her six-year-old son as they left a graduation ceremony. RCMP said the woman was able to alert security personnel at the grad and police were called.
