Police are on the hunt for a male suspect they believe is connected to at least three sexual assaults in Toronto and York Region.
They say the first reported incident took place when an 18-year-old woman was attacked in front of her home around 1 p.m. on May 26 in Vaughan after getting off a bus in the Keele Street and Rutherford Road area.
Police say the suspect ran towards her and sexually assaulted her before fleeing the scene.
The second attack happened on June 8 around 11 p.m. when a 33-year-old woman was approached from behind in the area of Whitmore Avenue and Fairleigh Crescent in Toronto and sexually assaulted.
The third incident took place on June 21 at 11:15 p.m. when a 29-year-old woman was also approached from behind in the area of Brooke Avenue and Yonge Boulevard in Toronto.
Police say she was dragged on a driveway, pinned to a fence and sexually assaulted.
Authorities believe all three assaults were committed by the same man.
“Now that we’ve identified that this person in fact moves through jurisdictions, so for people who live in the City of Toronto, to open their mind to the fact that this person is amongst all of us,” said Toronto police Insp. Pauline Gray told reporters Tuesday morning.
“Now we’ll have people view it in terms of, ‘This person may live in my area, not just in York Region,’ and hopefully we’ll get some tips.”
The suspect is described as black, 20 to 40 years of age, between 5’8″ to 6’ tall, with a muscular build, short black hair, some facial hair, and wearing glasses.

Surveillance video of the suspect was recorded in the first reported sexual assault and released to the public last month.
Police say he was seen driving in a white, newer-model, compact, four-door car believed to be a Mazda 3.
“The video is of incredible good quality. Somebody knows who this fellow is. It’s really, really good,” said Gray.
Police are concerned there may be more victims.
