A man was left suffering from serious stab wounds after a disagreement turned violent in downtown Vancouver Saturday morning.
The victim, who is a 27-year-old man from Surrey, was stabbed several times after a fight broke out near Granville and Davie Street.
The victim’s wounds are serious, but not life-threatening.
The suspect is in custody and has been identified as 21-year-old man Amandeep Grewal.
He has been charged with one count of assault with a weapon and one count of aggravated assault.
He has no criminal record, but is known to police.
Grewal will appear in court later this month.
