Kamloops Fire Information Officer Rachel Witt says reports of the aggressive wildfire came in Thursday morning.

BC Wildfire is responding.  Thirty-five fire personnel are on the ground while one helicopter, four tankers and two bird dogs are actioning it from the air.

The fire is estimated at four hectares, but because of it’s aggressive nature it is spreading quickly.

The BC Wildfire Service reports three fires lit near Lytton’s rail line are human caused.
