LAVAL – Police are investigating after a 22-year-old man was found dead in Laval on Tuesday night.
Officers were called to an apartment building on Lévesque Boulevard in the eastern Saint-Vincent-de-Paul district just before 8 p.m.
The victim, who was known to police, was found on the building’s front steps with wounds to his back, consistent to being struck with a blunt object.
The death comes after increased surveillance in the area following several recent shootings in neighbouring Saint-François.
